Updates from Mairzy

Since I do not get to see Mr. Toby everyday

my mom has been great about sending me picture updates of my fur baby....

...He sure loves him some Pup-Peroni...

...no doubt he is the grand-puppy

...

A quick note on how my mom's grandmother name evolved from Mere into Mairzy...

Kelley sings a song with the boys called

"Mares Eat Oats - Mairzy Doats -"

I had heard them sing it together a couple of times

and one day I finally asked,

"Are ya'll singing in Polish?"

(Travis' grandma sometimes sings polish lullabies to the kids)

Trip and Nate busted out laughing with,

"NO, Aunt Fuzzy! It's just how a baby would sing the song".

...

"Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey

If the words sound queer and funny to your ear, a little bit jumbled and jivey

Sing "Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy"

 I'm glad they told me or I would have been

showing off my newly found knowledge of the Polish language.
